FRCN employee slumps, dies in Lafia

 

A senior administrative employee of the of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Precious FM Lafia, Miss Fatima Garga, slumped and died in her car.

Investigation by The PUNCH revealed that the radio station employee, slumped and died on Monday evening while processing her travel documents to perform the this year’s pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

Our reporter learnt that when Garga drove her car from the office, was she healthy and never complained of any complication.


A source in the FRCN, who did want his name in print, told The PUNCH in Lafia, “Garga parked her car, rested her head on the steering but the continuously blaring of the horn from her car drew our attention and we rushed to see what was the problem.”

According to the source, when the road users opened the door of the car, they discovered that her head rested on the steering and remained motionless.

She was said to have been rushed to the Dalhatu Arah Specialist Hospital, where she was confirmed dead..
The General Manager, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident to The PUNCH, described her death as a great loss to the station.
