Scores die in Bauchi bomb blast

 

A bomb blast has occurred at a First Bank branch in Azare area of Bauchi state.

Several people are feared to have died in the blast which happened close to the bank's ATM gallery.

According to eyewitnesses, the victims were queuing and some of them were there to collect their salaries.

This is the third explosion in the North in the past week, the previous being at October 31st Gombe blast and a Yobe blast on November 3rd.
